Dave is a New York State Licensed Home Inspector. He started the Buffalo Home Inspection Service Inc. in 1993 and founded the TurnKey Home Inspection System in 1999. He is an International Code Council (ICC) Certified Housing Inspector.

He developed the TurnKey Home Inspection System Training Curriculum which was approved by the New York State DOS Bureau of Educational Standards. He is a former 20 year ASHI Certified Home Inspector, and is approved by the New York State Department of State Bureau of Educational Standards as a Home Inspector Instructor, Continuing Education Provider, & Subject Matter Expert (SME).  He is a past President of the Western New York Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). He is also a past President of the New York State Association of Home Inspectors (NYSAHI) and the Western New York Alliance of Home Inspectors.
